The Spohad stone: an eye with clock hands turning inside

Spohad — Scroll your life like a feed.

Years of photos, videos and files — one frame at a time. Every swipe puts it in its place and makes it more precious.

In half a minute

Your Photo library turns into a feed

Spohad in half a minute: the Photo library becomes a feed, swipes sort photos into catalogs, duplicates are found, and Save frees space. At the end, the Spohad app icon appears with its name, which turns into “Memory” and back.

The ritual

No grid. No algorithm. Just your life, frame by frame.

The pile becomes a feed you actually want to scroll. Every direction means something — your thumb learns it in a minute.

  1. Left — to Memorieswhat you’ll want to see in twenty years
  2. Right — to Recallwhat you need for now: receipts, tickets, screenshots
  3. Trashit can go

Or just scroll on. Skipping is a decision too: Spohad will show that frame again later.

Value

The more you touch a frame, the more it’s worth.

Everything you do with a frame raises its value by one, up to five. Bit by bit, your archive shows what matters most to you.

Value: 5 of 5 — each action raises it
  1. Name it
  2. Describe it
  3. Tag it
  4. Put it in its place

Kept beside the original

Value goes into a small .xmp file next to the photo — an open format other photo apps can read too. The original stays untouched.

Incoming and three catalogs

One feed, with a place for what matters now, later or only to you.

Memories grow more precious with the years. Recall fades once it has done its job.

  • Sort

Incoming. Everything passes through here first.

  • Memories

Family, trips, the big days — to come back to.

  • Recall

Receipts, screenshots, tickets — for now.

  • Vault

    Private items start here.

Vault

Private stays behind Face ID.

Choose a free folder in Files, locked by Spohad with Face ID but not encrypted. Or use the encrypted Vault inside the app (Pro), protected by cryptography built into iOS: on this iPhone it opens with Face ID, Touch ID or your iPhone passcode; on a new device only your Vault code works, with no back door.

Duplicates

Duplicates find themselves. You choose.

Near-identical shots stand side by side. Drag the line toward the one to remove — the better copy is suggested first.

Save

Then one tap — and everything falls into place.

Your decisions wait in Changes until you’re ready. Save carries them all out at once and shows how much space you freed.

Everywhere

Your archive lives in more places than the Photo library.

Not only the Photo library

Folders on your iPhone, iCloud Drive and any folder you open through Files — a USB drive, a NAS, a cloud. All in one feed.

Apple Watch as a remote

Pro

Swipe on your wrist and the phone obeys. Turn the Digital Crown to flip frames, double-tap to like. The edges glow in the colors of your catalogs.

Evenings on the big screen

Pro

AirPlay to the TV, and it shows only the photo — full screen, with the date and place. Your phone stays the remote: the family remembers, you sort.

Trust

Your files stay on your device.

  • On your phone

Everything happens on your device. Spohad never uploads your files.

  • No account

No sign-up, no sign-in. Open it and start.

  • No tracking, no ads

No analytics, no ad identifiers, no third-party SDKs.

  • Nothing moves until Save

Every decision waits in Changes and can be undone. Deleting from the Photo library still asks iOS to confirm.

  • Originals untouched

Names, tags and value go into a small .xmp file beside the original.

  • This site too

No cookies, no analytics and no third-party content.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. Spohad never uploads your files.

Where do my files go?

Into the folders you pick — on your iPhone, in Files, on a USB drive or a NAS. Spohad has no cloud of its own.

Can I delete something by accident?

Nothing changes until you tap Save; until then every decision can be undone in Changes. Removing photos from the Photo library also asks iOS to confirm.

What can it open?

Photos (Live Photos and RAW too), video, music, PDFs, EPUB books and text. Anything else opens through Quick Look — you can sort it either way.

Which devices?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later and iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. With Pro, Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later becomes a remote, and AirPlay puts the feed on your TV.

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. Purchases in the TestFlight beta are test purchases — no real money is charged.

What does “Spohad” mean?

It’s Ukrainian for “a memory” — спогад. Tap the word at the top of this page to see it.
